Dmitry Bronner was appointed as CEO of Konnect, Russia (LLC Eutelsat Networks), the fastest growing satellite Internet service provider in Russia *. Until now, Nikolay Orlov, acting Regional Vice President of Eutelsat S.A., CEO of Eutelsat International Ltd and General Director of Eutelsat Rus LLC, has temporarily served as CEO.

Dmitry Bronner has extensive managerial experience: from 2003 to 2011 he worked at Nokia, held executive positions in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine. Then he worked for NAGRA, being responsible for business in Russia, CIS and Baltic countries. Mr. Bronner graduated from the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics and holds a Ph.D. degree.

Konnect, Russia provides Ka-band satellite Internet services for private use, small, medium and large businesses, as well as government agencies based on two Russian high-capacity satellites Express-AMU1 (Eutelsat 36C) and Yamal-601. The spacecrafts were commissioned in 2016 and 2019, respectively. The coverage area of ​​Konnect, Russia includes 7 federal districts with standard speeds of up to 40-100 Mbps. Konnect is one of the priority businesses of Eutelsat S.A, and provides satellite Internet services in Europe, Africa and Russia. At the end of April, Eutelsat S.A. strengthened its position in the satellite communications market by announcing a $ 550 million investment and a 24% stake in OneWeb, the world's leading LEO satellite constellation operator.
